Ok this may sound like a dumb question but....
Is it ok to shoot fireworks over your pond? Other than some stuff landing on the pond is there any other dangers I need to be aware of?? I have never done it before so just thought I would ask.

Any chemicals in them that do not burn off would be so small I can't believe you could have any issues

They do it all the time over the lakes in my area with no issues. I once made the mistake of night fishing on a lake on the fourth of July when the entire lake shore erupted with fireworks from residents. Got the hell out of dodge!
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

We shoot them over our 2 acre pond every 4th of July, and have had no problems other than starting fires on the shore where we launch them from.

Hey thanks just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. I have worked to hard to do something stupid at this point and have a fish kill!

Usually starts fires, or if one one don't get up and pops on the ground...

We do fireworks every year over the pond. Not much danger of fire this year with it being the monsoon season. We have had rain every day for a week now with more forecast today. Can't even pull the vehicles down by the pond because the field is like a swamp but we will not let that hold us back. Happy Independence Day to all !!!
