Amazing how you looks at things differently when you meet new people... Via in person or forums... Boys were shooting bows from their tree house this afternoon and this is hanging above the door.. Instantly thought of some guy name Cecil I have never met!!!

Who knows what will happen? You never know when a group of Pondmeisters get together. There is plenty of wood here, and yes, there is a place for a fire, plus I have a portable fire ring that was given to me a few weeks ago.

Ticks are bad too. Even with Frontline on Kate I still found 2 on her in the past few days. They weren't on her long enough to start to feed tho. No worry, I'll have the bugs under control.

If you get the bugs under control I suggest you appoint Sunil as crowd control.
Do nature a favor, spay/neuter your pets and any weird friends or relatives.

The bugs will be easy. I've got a good system down.
I'm working on Sunil. Hopefully he will show up. Heck, he could even write it off as a busniss trip - he's got an office in South Bend, Indiana, 30 miles away. Make an office visit on Friday, visit a pond on Sat, be back home on Sunday.

Seems that the Holiday Inn is booked that weekend, as is Swan Lake Resort due to a huge wedding. Here's some other places to try, all local:

WOW, gonna be a great time!!! Hoosier PB/Woodstock. Have ya talked BC into a givin a presentation? Maybe a debate with CB about round vs square fish cages. Cecil graciously gave me a square one and for the last month 48 YP have done fine in it. Thanks Cecil and one other hero of mine who prefers to be un-named. I live about two hrs from Scott am\nd have a 40x60 pole barn, bring your sleeping bags. Bob-O

Sue, you flying into Midway or O'Hare? I can tell you the easiest way to get here from both. From either airport you have to go thru Valpariso anyway.
Valpo is 1/2 hr from here, due West on US 30. It's a college town, so there should be lots of hotels.

Just had a telephone confirmation that the celebrity has confirmed he's coming. Bob Lusk WILL be here. Maybe not first thing in the morning, but I think he'll get here along with Debbie and his grand daughter around noon.

You guys have fun and post pics and stories. Someone needs to assume the job of pic man and chronicler of the event. There will be lots of stories to be told. Meanwhile I will be at the lakes working. Lime to spread , beaver to trap , grass up to my waste to cut , roads to be bladed and brush to cut. Ugggh in 95 F temps and 85% humidity.
