I have a problem, I stocked 200 2" lmb a yr ago and very few have survived and I mean very few. Pond is 3/4 of an acre and 15' deep. It was stocked with 1000 bg and fh 2 yrs ago so I have a forage explosion. The bg range from last falls spawn to 8-9" and tons of fh. How many lmb and what size should I stock? Also have cc that are over a 12" now and 12 hsb that are over 12" now. Have a Texas Hunter feeder and feed 2x a day.

200 LMB into a 3/4 is more than twice the recommended stocking rate. It is probably a good thing they all didn't survive. What size are the LMB you stocked now? I would be patient and wait. Once those LMB start to reproduce you will say, where did all the forage go?

I haven't seen any lmb except 1 and he was 6-8". I walk around the pond at least 2x a day and don't see any lmb. The 1 I do see is always in the same spot of the pond most of the time.

LMB are often not very visible when there are piles of forage fish for them to feed on.
