Sunil, Ken, Yolk, Bruce and Josh all topped the 2# mark I recall, and more guys probably too. I imagine those fish exhibited the dinner plate characteristics more than my sub 2# "dinks". I was intrigued by the CNBG I caught as they were so much larger and colored differently than any BG I'd ever caught before...the CNBG is certainly a beautiful fish. We did catch some pretty hefty Northern BG also - they certainly hold their own at RM.

I nearly missed the BG bite the entire first day of fishing as Bruce, Yolk and myself were reluctant to throw the cricket/bobber combo and were adamantly slinging artificials all day. Once I switched over to live bait on day 2, our boat [Todd and Victor] had a 75 BG day with 90% between 1-1.75#. I want to state that Yolk never quit his sniper casting jigs, however, and continued to catch massive BG throughout the trip. He's a deadly accurate caster and a world class human being, too...really enjoyed my time on the boat with him, Bruce, Todd and el Victorino.
