I wouldn't worry about your pH. It's very close to neutral. The pH scale is logarithmic which effectively means 6 is weakly acidic. A pH of 5 is 10 times stronger than 6, and a pH of 4 is 10 times more acidic than a 5 (or 100 times more acidic than 6). I know some things like weakly acidic or basic environments, but anything between 6 and 8 is pretty close to neutral and also easily changed.
