Hey Guys, I'm working on a smartphone app to track species, weight, length, Date/Time, and other attributes while fishing. It allows you to set up your lakes and log your catches. Will eventually be adding charts I know alot of you guys use a notepad and Excel.. would anybody be interested in using an app instead?

Depending on ease of use, I would be very interested in this.

Absolutely!
How have you handled exporting data, and in what formats?

I haven't handled that yet Once I do... I'll likely export to CSV or XLS. At this point, its open to input

Either of those would be great, and work for Excel or most DB's.
I have a similar Filemaker iPad app for my personal use, but the data dump is pretty kludgy.
Good luck, your app could be a cool deal.

Alright, I'll let you know when I'm getting closer to a working product. Maybe I can have a few of you install a beta version and give some feedback
