I had a great time fishing for redfish in Texas. I knew I liked the state when they asked for my SSN when I bought my tags...I asked why, and the lady said it was to make sure I wasn't a deadbeat dad, LOL. Apparently if you owe child support you can't buy tags. Perhaps only in TX would this be an effective deterrent.
