I had to dig this one out of the archives...... So who do you think makes the best electric knife for filleting (pan fish)?
I only asked this because a friend brought over eighteen crappie the other night that he didn't want to clean. I put them in a 5 gallon bucket and put ice on them.
I forgot about them while playing around on PB
. Anyway , I saw them before I went to bed. I've never used an electric knife on pan-fish before (knew it had to be quicker) and I kinda messed up the first couple. Wow did it get easier after that!!!
I can fillet decent but if I'm home cleaning fish, I'm going electric. It was like a hot knife going through butter.
I think the hardest part was staying out of the rib bones.
