Pond Boss has given me the knowledge to manage for big sunfish such as this. Once again, knowing Bob Lusk, attending the seminars and making all these great friends is paying off!

....and here's another picture. This is the second biggest bluegill/green sunfish I've ever ever seen. The biggest one I've ever seen was the one I caught at Herman Brothers place two years ago.

That HBG is actually 1/2" long.. He's good at pictures  Beautiful fish as always Bruce whats the catch details on the RES, bait, depth method of mayhem..

Ice fishing rod from Scheels....just a little cheapie, but with some great ice fishing 1 pound test braid.
The fish was right at 12 inches. No official weight taken. Guessing 1-8 to 1-10 range. Every single big bluegill, big redear and big hybrid were just slamming the Strike King mini crankbait in the bass pattern. I mean they were KILLING IT!! Lots of fun all weekend. Anybody want to go with me tomorrow?

I wish I could go.. Good luck tomorrow post more sunfish pics hopefully I can catch a couple to match you tomorrow been pretty slow around my pond this year don't think I've broke the pound mark this year..

Very nice RES and HBG Bruce. Best to keep your fingers away from that RES mouth - it can crush snails err fingers.
