It sure has been slow getting started here. In the last couple of weeks my hoop house has ranged from 24 to 130 degrees. That sure took a toll on my seedlings.
I cut my seed potatoes a couple weeks ago, but it has been too wet to use the middle buster to put in planting trenches. Same for the peas. I guess I won't have any peas until fall.
The chickens scratched up the spring onions and garlic. This week's heavy rain had my celery and horse radish under water for over a day.
Only the cabbage, broccoli, lettuces, radishes and strawberries seem to be doing OK. The beets and carrots don't seem to want to germinate.
