It certainly did rain hard. I was awakened about midnight by the heavy rain. I got up and looked at the radar. I'm not very far from VAMAZ, but thankfully, we were on the edge of the heaviest rain -- only got about 3 inches. Most of our storms come down from the Great Lakes, or up from the Gulf. This one seemed to be coming directly from the Atlantic.
The 6" drain of my older pond still looks like VAMAZ's, and there are still several inches of water in the emergency overflow.
