It's the rocks that are used around railroad ties/tracks. They reclaim it when tracks are pulled up. The local aggrigate supplier here has it, and I believe it's pretty common. It isn't cleaned tho, so you might find odd bits of metal in it. i.e. railroad spikes, etc.
