Well, it's almost May and I still don't have my garden in due to record cold temps here in Oklahoma. According to NOAA, we have another strong cold front headed this way by the middle of next week, which will be in May. My wife planted two tomato plants a week or so ago and they look awful, even though we covered them. The Oklahoma wheat crop has been decimated with temps dropping to the teens and mid twenties at night. We've broken record lows by as much as 16 degrees with no end in sight.
