If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

There was a local exhibit of critters gone by that was featured on the local news. Anyway, They were talking about early beavers that were 6+ ft standing up, and weighed quite a bit, I mean these were big creatures. Gal made a comment, "Can any of you guys imagine encountering a 6 ft Beaver?" The split second after she said that, her face turned really red, and stumbled a bit. Went to commercial pretty quick! Sunil made me do it!

By the way, there was a similar accident near my pond but with happier ending. A boy from neighbourhood was wandering near my pond when suddenly his dog ran into the bushes and started fighting with a beaver (from my pond ). He wanted to help the dog but wasn't lucky enough. In the end he had some minor injury in leg

Probably it didn't suffer much. I wasn't there at the moment so I heard this story from my relatives and I don't know details. Doctor said that this spoilt child cried like he had at least half of the head removed
