Note if you can, whether a reaction strike or scent attraction.
Our tests are restricted to pure Florida LMB because of the reputation for being hard to catch - should be interesting to see results. Results to date are with pre-spawn/spawn fish and have all been reaction with no hook-ups except male LMB reaction strike that Jeff caught - he did catch a big female on a spinner bait for comparison purposes.
