So Thursday my girlfriends daughter was fishing for bluegills with night crawlers, well she landed a 20lb grass carp. I brought it in gentle never took it out of the water the hook came out of its lip with ease. Today she was laying dead on the bottom. I have had them for four years and never caught one. Is it normal for them to die after being caught? Cody, if you land them quickly and revive them they survive - if on light tackle, the big ones will fight until they die. G/
