Tony, those are greys - the first morels to emerge annually, and they are typically pretty small. I'll be very interested to hear how much they grew in a day or two - will you please tell us what you find out? I've picked greys as small at 1.5" before because I thought they were maxed out and starting to dry/crumble. Let us know - and congrats on the find! Should be soon here - amazing, last year the season was already over by this time of the year - this year should be much later than normal.

BGK please let me know when you start seeing them, you're probably 7-10 days ahead of me. We have the moisture, but it's been a very chilly March and April thus far, so we need to string 2-3 days of sun and 60-70s to get them popping.
