For Mr. Glazener...
Just caught the first HSB of the season on a fly rod yesterday. It was just under 9lbs. I'm really scared about getting the larger ones in, now!

Good job Stacy!! Details on what you used? (rod, reel, line, leader, hook size?) I'll bet I know what you used for a fly.

Thank you, Scott! ....8 wt fly rod, WF floating fly line, 8lb leader, size 10 dry fly hook, AND "Lightnin'n Bug" SS pellet. Caught some RB and had a baby HSB hooked but it got loose. I was so excited. And Steve said the babies are closer to 8 inches long (not 4inches like what I said earlier).

Thank ya'll! They really are great fish! With the water temperature what it was it didn't fight all that much.... thank goodness!
