One of my friends has been fishing at our place for a while. He never seems to be able to catch more than one catfish, so I offered him the opportunity to run a trotline. He put it out around noon yesterday and then took it up at 6pm.
During the period they were taking in the line, one of their kids landed about a 1/2 pound GSF. Glad to see they are still healthy.
We didn't fish once over the winter.
