But, it may not have been wise to disturb that groggy bullfrog. I'm not sure about bullfrogs, but in many states it is illegal to disturb a hibernating bear because they get so grumpy when you wake them. They become very dangerous.
You better be very careful around the pond this season. Those big bullfrogs can be extremely vicious. Like elephants, they have photographic memories, and they also have very long memories.
