Its Monday and I'll actually be 30! Funny thing is my younger sister will turn 28 on monday as well...I think my parents anniversary was 9 months earlier (I actually did the math once)

So with the TV show, basically we just wait on their timing...They love everything about it- they love the shows diversity, they love us, they love our family dynamics, they love our area of the midwest, they love our friends and family (many of whom they have interviewed many many times), they say they love everything, so now we just wait for them to give the production company the green light and from what I am now hearing they could start filming in 6 weeks, 6 months, or even longer....With the amount of work they have put into this over the last year, the production company and them have had to spend well over 6 figures....crazy really....I even had to hire an agent a couple months ago, yep sounds weird to think about, but I got an agent....but now after everything moving so fast up to this point, now we just go on our normal business and wait. All the episodes are planned out pretty much to a T. We had to make up 12 of them with a producer and then the network will pretty much pick the ones they want, then they add whatever they want to spruce them up even more...

but anyhow I am planning an epic birthday party that involves ice skating and maybe even chuckee cheese, lots of homemade cards from the kids who are pretty much making them daily and a new bike (hopefully all put together waiting for me to ride in the am). Really my birthday is more fun for the kids than their own birthday....

Noah's latest card was made on a pink construction paper and he was soo proud of it just waiting for me to come home to see it....he said the pink was to remind me of our beautiful momma, my wife....
