Due to the heat and drought of 2011, cedars are dying throughout Texas. Some are large and others small. I've lost some that are old and huge.
It is continuing, The first sign is a dying branch. It spreads through the tree. No idea how long it will last.
It is estimated that post oaks will be dying for the next 10 years due to the 2011 drought. If we don't get significant rain soon, ponds throughout Texas and Oklahoma( including mine) will be toast this year.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
