Scott, I don't doubt that it happens. However, I don't think it happens often enough to give them a reputation. I've seen monster hogs turn themselves inside out trying to get away from me.
Same thing with rattlesnakes. I have no idea how many I've been around but have only had 2 become aggressive and come after me. Can't say the same thing about cottonmouths. Those things have an attitude.
