Maybe I just live in a good neighborhood? Maybe I've been lucky up to this point. There's a lot of talk about violent people, and the damage they may inflict in this thread. Where I live, we have break-ins occasionally, but I don't recall it ever happening when someone was home, and leading to personal injury.
Perhaps living down in the hills and hollers, where you know your neighbors and they know you, and where you still look up when a car goes down the road, isn't such a bad thing after all.
