I kinda like the coyotes and cats. They are the only possible deterrent for the pigs. They can't tackle a big one but can do a number on the smaller ones.
Dave, if you have a lot of 'yotes, that's probably the reason for the deer herd being thin. The 'yotes eat a tremendous amount of newly birthed fawns. Dr. Grant Woods did a study, and in an area where 'yotes weren't controlled, they ate right around 80% of the newly birthed fawns within the first 4 hours of the fawn's life.
