A few more weeks to go and the snow will be gone. Uh Huh.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

It looks like the transition from rain to snow is happening soon than expected. Should know more by noon.

Winter storm watch for tomorrow (Tuesday) here. The way the last storm fizzled out, I don't have high hopes for this one. The pond has dropped 4" in the past 2 weeks..... Sunny and highs in the upper 30's here today. The 1" of snow that was left on the ground should be gone by early afternoon. It was in the upper teens last night.

The storm hasn't really gone anywhere today. It just dumped snow on the same areas. Up to 22" in NW Oklahoma. Around 6" of snow back home but no power there. I am currently at university in Stillwater, OK. It started snowing around 6 pm and hasn't stopped yet. Looks like it last throughout the night. This is the strongest storm I have seen in Oklahoma in my short life time.

Raining here. Ambient temps are hovering around 32F, ground temp is hovering around the same. A few hours ago everything was covered with ice, now a lot has melted, but the temp is supposed to drop and the rain is supposed to turn to snow.
Last night the local weather said 6" of snow, this morning they downgraded it to 4" of wet stuff. But, they also covered their backside by saying if the storm moves slightly, the temp will drop and the snowfall will increase.
I'd be a happy camper if we had 4"-6"" of rain!

Storm has mostly ended here with maybe an inch or two of snow. We got a mixture of snow and then rain and then snow and then rain.

33F here now. Looking on the radar we are smack dab on the line between rain to the East and snow to the West. Looks like it might be coming up on a clear window for a while too.

Was rain, then sleet, then freezing rain, then wet snow and now the colder snow is coming down in buckets.
