My dad was a patient man. He put up with everything imaginable in all of my outdoor endeavors, but he drew the line when it came to skunks. Actually, I did skin them outside; I was just drying/stretching them in the basement. The homemade fish oil project was interesting too. I had the neighbors wondering about that one since there wasn't a pond within a mile of our house.

My dad drew the line with the exploding targets 50 ft from the house almost broke a window from the concusion. oops

Not as bad but the brief time I was in the Boy Scouts and we had access to army rations in a can, someone would put a can of cheese in the campfire unbeknownst to the rest of us. Once it got hot enough it exploded! You haven't lived until you get hot cheese all over you! And it's really funny when it's the other guy!

I've been a diehard Pirates/Steelers/Penguins fan since I was 6 yo - 1976! The Pirates are sporting the longest losing streak for any professional sports team at 20 seasons. Actually held first place for a while last year, even after the all star break, but melted yet again at season's end. Embarrassing.
