For the most part just poor shooting and tough deer...the injured deer flock to our native grasses and new growth trees along the river.....throughout the hunting season we saw tons of injured deer pouring into the property....this was the first day we spent waking the place since season is now over....
We still have an 80 acre tall grass field to burn in a couple weeks and likely will find lots more in there....
