Good job! Yes, 'yotes are hard on deer. Not only the fawns, but during the winter they'll chase mature deer and even if they don't catch and kill them, the stress that they go thru weakens them.

With the deer population down the predators will be hungry and overabundant vs. their prey, putting more pressure on the remaining deer, especially during the Spring when they are feeding their pups.
