I see 9839 registered members. You're right. I wonder why there's a descrepancy between a new registered members number and the "registered members"? Maybe that many previously registered members got shown the door?

I'd say around April 5th, 4:53 PM, eastern time.
And, yes, as far as I know the registration number and the number of those registered is due to those we get rid of, like all those who post their counterfeit wares between the time ESSHUP goes to bed and when Dave Davidson wakes up. We have also outright banned a few people because of behavior on the forum, but that number is extremely small. I'm not sure what happened years ago when they changed software, and people like George(1), Cecil Baird(1), Dave Davidson(1) had to start over with modified user names that usually include the number "1" at the end of their name.

The discrepancy is because of spammers who have been deleted. The lower number is the "real" number.
