Yellow Bass and White Perch are really similar...the only thing that benefits from hoards of schooling fish like that are predators large enough to benefit. We have a good size reservoir [1,700 ac] near Lincoln called Branched Oak, and it has been overrun with white perch. The resulting fishery has few WE and HSB, but the ones caught are typically very large. The BC and FC fishing however is nearing epic status...I'd say it's one of the best FC fisheries in the world at this point due to all those WP. The best method for catching monster FC - Trolling cranks during daylight hours! Amazing...
