Here's a BBC post about a LMB caught west of Fort Worth in a guesstimated 1 to 2 acre pond on 01-21-12. The guy was from Tennessee, and didn't weigh the fish. It was returned to the pond. Dave, I may need to turn west on I30 instead of east from now on. potential state record? There goes the theory that big fish can�t be caught in small ponds.. Bill Cody, can you take a fingernail measurement and extrapolate for length and breadth for a weight guestament? Al is going to try to contact the taxidermist that made the replica of the 19 lb Texas state record LMB. That fish is huge!!!
