John - The pump will work okay for your application especially since you have 24 ft of depth. Pump has enough pressure to easily get ample air to the diffuser at 24ft. Main disadvantage to that particular pump is it will be fairly noisey (because it is a piston model) and it has fairly high hp so it will consume more electricity than a 1/3 hp rocking piston compressor which produces similar pressure and cfm at 24 ft. Since the pond looks new,m and is just 3/4 ac and pump produces 4+cfm at 24 ft, you may be able get by with operation of the pump for 10 to 12 hrs per day (maybe 2, 6 hr periods/d)instead of 24/7.
