John, check out ebay.. I mean it. You can buy a compressor there cheap to areate your pond. My pond is half acre and I bought a gast aircompressor there for $90.00 shipping and handleing included. You don't have to spend alot of $ on weighted airline either, go to a local hardware store and buy 1/2 inch waterline and run it from the compressor to the pond. I am useing a soaker hose for diffusers to areate right now but am purchaseing some of the diffusers I was just talking about this week. Anyways, don't waste your time with the big compressor because you'll pay the difference of the one for your pond with your first electric bill
