hi cb, just a couple ideas here.....i'd look into tapping the line somewhere between the well and the pond and then run some 1/2-inch feeders to different points around pond bank, rig up some spray nozzles positioned and shooting in towards the center. seems to me this would fight aquatic weed growth around pond edges, and break up the surface real well to help keep things oxygenated, plus give you some alternate water sources out and about around pond. once the thing is full, you could probably get away with just valving the 4-inch feed in the pond. with a valve you'd be able to control and maintain pressure on the permimeter lines, if you go that way, and if a drought starts draining things, you still have a 4-inch gusher to fill it back up....good luck and hope you get some more ideas here.
