The SHO works by moving the pond water's surface and adds O2(to the well water) by shooting the water under pressure into the pond. The number of valves would be decided by the GPM your pump delivers. Is the well/pump for the pond only? If it is, I would want to put as much water in the pond per minute as I could. I am only putting about 16 GPM into the pond off of the 4 headed SHO. Thus leaving about 6-8GPM in reserve for house usage at 40 PSI.
