Todd:

Put some bigger rock down first, and drive over it for a while. (slightly smaller than fist sized) That will make a nice solid bed, then smooth the top, run a plate compactor over it (or large vibrating roller) then put the Geotextile and crusher run. That'll help keep it flatter for longer. Without a great base, where the tires run all the time will depress.
