Possibly water temp, or it could be water quality if a lot of fish are jammed into a much smaller BOW. Usually when water temps drop below 60�F, feedeing warm water fishes is suspended. It's been said that warm water fish have a harder time digesting pellets in relatively cold water. Trout on the other hand will readily feed all winter long.
