I have a client 1.5 hours north of WHite Plains. ANyone in central NY that can recommend a trout supplier. Also might get some tiger muskie. I have the warm water fish taken care of.
Man what a state we have to get permits for eveyrhting and they will not allow client to drain the pond. Having trouble with rotenone also as well as permission to treat vegetation. Makes me appreciate GA more.

Yeah New York used to be really lax but after the VHS hysteria went the other way when it comes to interstate transport health testing. They even require trout to be tested for stuff there is no history they are susceptible to (as in testing trout for largemouth bass virus)! Same with warmwater fish that have to be tested for stuff like whirling disease!
When the head of APHIS called up New York and asked why they required testing fish for diseases they weren't susceptible to the response was, "Because we can!"
It will be probably impossible to bring in trout interstate (because of the sheer amount of ridiculous testing) but here's a good one in New Jersey if they are close and they do the right testing:
