Came home today at my week day apt. And a number of kids were playing Hockey with Roller Blades, wearing summer cloths out in the lot. Short's and a T shirt.
Probably wont get any snow till sometime in January. Feb. is usually the coldest time for us here, But, I'll keep my windows open for now.
Ground actually never freezes around here, and the Ice is light, Lately.

'tis a wonderful day. This is our "first day" of Christmas. Four generations of family, along with several dogs and cats, are gathered in the kitchen -- our big cat and I came down to the guest room in the basement for a little peace and quiet. With grandkids and their parents each having other families to celebrate the holidays with, we split our local Christmas over three days.
Time to go get some Christmas ham and some smoked trout!
Have a fantastic and safe holiday.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
