I am kinda assuming we ( the earth that is ) will be around next week and be able to laugh about it. When these predictions are made and people believe them how do they feel about their belief in these predictions when they don't come to pass? I'd feel foolish if I were that 7th graders mother and had to send her back to school after the holidays. I'd also have a staggering VISA and MasterCard to pay and a helluva headache.
I would guess, knowing a few preppers, that the mindset of some is that, well this one did not happen, but the next one might! False Alarm
I plan on having an underground facility some day. Back in the day, they called them Root Cellars! Kind of a storage device.
I told my boss that they actually found a 1600 year extension to the calendar, but it was never incorporated into the current one. Yep, gotta work Friday!
I can imagine that a few people are a bit anxious right now.
