Just constructed a 1 acre pond upstate New York.
After a hot dry summer the pond is just starting to fill

IM planing to stock it this spring
i would like to add something different other then your typical mix of large mouth bass, sunfish, pickerel and perch.
I'm thinking more along the line of hybrid striped bass
Can anyone recommend a full and complete stocking program
Since its a weekend home i don't plan on feeding regularly

You can utilize an automatic fish feeder that will feed your fish while you are gone. HBS are an excellent species in my opinion but in smaller ponds generally don't show very good growth rates without a feeding program. In smaller ponds, say under 1-2 acres, the HSB/CC/HBG combination is usually my recommendation...

CJB, is there an advantage/purpose to stocking the CC in a LMB/HBG pond?
