Caught a few this morning, before opening the shop. Most noteworthy was a small female HBG. 10 inches and 17 ozs. This fish illustrates the differences between the sexes pretty well.... note the smaller opercular flap, the shallow transition from underneath the jaw to the chest, (not much of a hump), the overall shape-more elongated, especially the "nose", and the coloration. I would characterize this fish as a GSF dominant, female.  Compared to what I consider a GSF dominant male:  And an earlier photo of a BG dominant male: 
"Forget pounds and ounces, I'm figuring displacement!"
If we accept that: MBG(+)FGSF(=)HBG(F1)
And we surmise that: BG(>)HBG(F1) while GSF(<)HBG(F1)
Would it hold true that: HBG(F1)(+)AM500(x)q.d.(=)1.5lbGRWT?

The story on HBG is that they grow quickly but don't generally get as big as a BG or CNBG? GSF are an undesirable mutt fish?
