great compresser , mine has being running 4 years now , no problems. i think i will snag one for the future. that price is fantastic. another $20 for shipping , great deal. just buying replacement vanes is $50. my pond is an acre and i have the compresser on a timer. like Cary said you only need turn her over once a day. i have 2 diffuser's in kidney shaped pond. i run it noon to 2 pm , 8 pm to 10 pm , 2 am to 4 am. cost only 7 or 8 bucks a month. in the summer the water temp is 72 in 2 ft or 8 ft. i only run one in the winter in the 4ft end , it keeps a hole about 30 to 40 ft in the ice , on the same times. thanks for the info on the unit JM . i put the compresser 8' from the pond and put it under a fake rock , really cool. get the vents from home depot and paint them to match the color of the rock. one other thing the motor wiring can be chaged to 110v.
