I'm right there with you Dave. We've taken in feral dogs/cats before, but first they've got to be social, then we neuter/spay them.
If they don't play by the rules, they go to the water park.
We have pastured race horses, and dairy farms around us, and part of being a good neighbor is helping them maintain their investment. It's no fun, but I agree with you, removal has to be done.
