Nate, if you can't get close enough to it, I have a Illinois legal muzzleloader that'll reach out 400 yds. I sent it to Todd and he whacked 2 deer in Va./W. Va. with it. 195g .400" dia. Barnes "X" bullet leaving the muzzle 'near 2875 fps.

If the wind cooperates tomorrow I should have a drop chart figured out to that distance.

That's a heck of a deer. What do you think it'll score?
