I'm looking to compact the back of the dam (3:1 slope, 18 deg.) a little at a time as the trees come out. I'm thinking a trench roller, like a Wacker RT56 or RT82, would be the best bet since this isn't going to be done all at once.
Does anyone have any experience using one of these on a dam?
