N8 your absolutely right I hate that this happened but I'm not losing sleep over it.. The arrow hit exactly where I aimed it was just an error in my part thinking the deer was quartering more than it was and placing the shot from the back of the rib cage going towards the shoulder..

Anyways I'm over that deer I've hunted last night and this morning but I'll probably take the weekend off with it being almost 70�

I believe in catch and release. I catch then release to the grease..
