All, In an effort to help me rebuild after dealing with the freeeee fish guy, I got several really nice FLA LMB from a real friend!! The reason is simple, he is trying to make room in his pond for Camalot Bell LMB so removing the FLA LMB from his pond made sense. And sending them to their new home in our pond also made sense, and I got to spend the day with a pretty nice guy to boot! All of the fish were caught by rod and line and showed great aggressiveness!! We weight and measured every one and had a average RW north of 115!!!! They got tagged and I will be reporting on them as time goes on. I can't wait to see them next year!! Bless you masked man, Bless you!!! Here are a couple of the pictures. And here is a picture showing the transfer of control!!! Curses, foiled again by the invisible mask!!

Actually, he's a cantankerous old goat and a pretty good friend of mine.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Brian:
Next time you are at a BPS or Cabelas, get one of those fish carrying bags (I think they have them). Put the fish in the bag and weigh the bag with the fish, then subtract the weight of the bag. Less chance of hurting the fish if they start flopping while on the hook of the scale.
I cheaped out when I did some weighing and used some really large zip lock bags.
You might be able to use a couple of those plastic grocery bags too.........

Jake, I don't know, you are NORTH of the RED River. I don't think George goes there... George has been a blessing, I am glad he got to go fly in a B-17 or we would have never met

Brian, as you know I don't tell war stories, but the story of my first ride in a B-17 airplane in 1943 brought me a lifetime friend - I salute you sir! George
