have you ever thought about something like this http://www.amazon.com/Global-G-21-Flexib...howViewpoints=1While not electric it will last a lifetime with proper care.I've used mine for hours on end at work on everything from salmon to flounder and duck and chickens.................just to bring it home and slice up a deer to two.With care it will hold a edge for weeks of daily use. anyway just a thought
